Top 10 Apps Every Entrepreneur Must-Have

The entrepreneur lifestyle can be busy, especially when there is little room for mistakes. That’s why it’s essential to stay as organized as possible, so you’re not wasting your time on irrelevant tasks.

Every successful entrepreneur uses apps to increase productivity. Some of these apps aren’t the most popular, but they have the potential to speed up your workflow and boost your efficiency.

A great app helps you get things done quickly and effectively. You don’t want to waste time searching for information or repeating tasks. Here are ten apps that every entrepreneur must have on their smartphone:

1. Trello

Trello is a free tool that lets you manage projects and tasks easily. It’s great for ordering a whole variety of projects, including blog posts and promotional work. The service organizes your work into cards, which can be added to different lists, tagged with color-coding, and set due dates. Trello will also notify you about upcoming deadlines or cards moved to the “Today” list.

You can use multiple boards for different projects and invite others to share or add comments. Trello is available for Web, iPhone and iPad, Android devices, Windows phones, Apple Watch, and Outlook plugin.

2. Dropbox

When you’re starting a business, you need to keep track of any data, from financials to contacts to notes and more.

Dropbox is the most popular file-sharing service of its type. It offers an easy way to share files between computers and mobile devices. Dropbox also provides cloud storage that can be used as a backup for essential files and sharing photos and videos.

3. Square

If you are a small business owner and need to take credit card payments, Square is the way to go. This app allows you to accept payments anywhere through your smartphone or tablet. You can even receive tips!

Square is a mobile payments company founded by Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey. The service allows anyone to accept credit card payments by plugging a smartphone into a speaker to make and receive payments.

4. Evernote

Evernote is a program used to take notes and create to-do lists. It’s also an app that allows you to access your notes and lists from any device. It’s free with in-app purchases.

Evernote is very popular among entrepreneurs because they can use it across all of their devices, making it incredibly useful when they are on the go. For example, if you are at home working on your laptop, but you want to remember something you saw that could be useful for a blog post later that evening, you could use Evernote to jot down the note, so you don’t forget about it. Later in the evening, when you’re at your computer again and writing a blog post, you can pull up that note on your Evernote app on your phone or tablet, so you have it handy.

5. Skitch

Skitch is a very easy-to-use application for the Mac. It is a screen capture tool that allows you to annotate your image, add some text if you wish, and share it via Twitter, Facebook, or even email. A bonus is that Skitch has OCR (Optical Character Recognition) built-in so you can search and extract the text from an image.

6. Wunderlist

This free app lets you create to-do lists, reminders, and project plans. It’s available across all platforms so that you can use it on your phone, tablet, computer, and more. The app makes it easy to collaborate with others on a task or project so that you can keep the whole team on track without the need for endless email threads.

7. SendGrid

SendGrid is a cloud-based email delivery platform that allows users to send, track and view emails through various devices. In addition, SendGrid’s API will enable programmers to develop and integrate customized email services into third-party applications.

8. Mint

Mint organizes all that information from your various accounts into one place, so you can see what you have available to spend and where you may be overspending.

9. Bizible

This tool allows you to track details about your website’s performance, such as revenue, keywords, and traffic sources.

10. 1Password

1Password is a password manager for people who are serious about their digital security. It is more than just password management — it’s an entire suite of tools that ensure you have everything you need to be safe.
